Bedok Beach

Bedok Beach, a conceptual master plan for the Bayshore Precinct in Singapore, is a people-centric waterfront village that celebrates its heritage and its surrounding nature. As a powerful symbol of a neighbourhood that is planned to be car-lite, the proposal called for a realignment of the original planned 'new Bayshore Road', to instead create a pedestrian and car-free community spine at the heart of the neighbourhood. To celebrate the site's heritage, a linear park was created that highlights the original coastline.
